Water pump belt, plastic, weldable, 5 mm thick, sold by the meter Instructions for use: Step 1: Measure the belt Place the belt around the water pump and the drive pulley, and gently tension it Hold the length with your finger and measure it with a tape measure Now cut the belt approx. 5 mm SHORTER to ensure sufficient tension after installation Step 2: Welding the belt   Place the belt around the shaft and heat both ends simultaneously with a lighter     As soon as both ends become liquid, set the lighter aside; the belt can now be fused Press both ends together and let them cool under pressure After about 30 seconds of cooling, once the welded area has slightly "dried," smooth out the excess material with your fingers If any residue remains, cut it off with a utility knife and, if necessary, smooth the welded area with coarse sandpaper Before your next ride, or before installing the belt on the water pump, let the drive wheel cool down completely (approx. 5 min)
