The resistance of NBR O-rings to aging, weathering, and ozone is rather low, but this is irrelevant for many applications as long as the material is surrounded by a medium (e.g., oil).  NBR O-rings are not resistant to hydraulic fluids (HFD), glycols (brake fluids), aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, polar solvents, and fuels with a high aromatic content.
